Explosive Detection Services

Terrorism is no longer solely a foreign problem. The threat of easily concealed explosive devices has also become an increasing domestic concern for public and private security experts. T&M Protection Resources Explosive Detection Group personnel are highly trained and experienced in the detection and recognition of explosive devices. As also used by military, federal and local law enforcement, T&M's Explosive Detection Group employs the most sophisticated technology together with specialized Explosive Detection Canine (EDC) teams, widely recognized as one of the most accurate and effective methods of uncovering hidden explosive devices.

T&M maintains a fully staffed Training and Operational Center and kennel facility in Long Island City for immediate response to client requirements in Manhattan and throughout the New York metropolitan area. T&M's EDC Director and Kennel Master brings 20 years of proven experience in EDC operations including his prior responsibility as Kennel Master for the NYPD Bomb Squad. T&M continuously cross-trains handlers to maintain a 3:1 ratio of handlers to canines for maximum operational flexibility (each handler is trained with each canine and "knows" the dog's habits and affect). T&M canines are not pets and reside at the Training and Operational Center when not on active assignment to insure proper care, maintenance, training and rapid deployment as needed.
