Robert Wood Joins T&M Protection As Vice President of Security Services

22 years of experience in the private security industry

NEW YORK — T&M Protection Resources has announced the appointment of security industry veteran Robert Wood to the position of Vice President of Security Services. Wood assumes a key leadership role for direction and oversight of T&M's security services operation, including account management, field supervision, customer relations management, and business development.

Throughout the course of his 22 years of experience in the private security industry, Wood held several senior-level positions with Allied Security, the third largest protective services company in the U.S. His responsibilities included the oversight of uniformed security services and account relationship management for numerous high-profile clients, including many Fortune 500 companies. Previously, he served as Vice President and General Manager for Allied•s Mid-Atlantic Region. Most recently, Bob was Divisional Vice President of Barton Protective Services in the New York/New Jersey market. Barton was recently acquired by Allied Security in August, 2004.

During his service with the New Jersey Army National Guard (1980-85), Wood was selected "Enlisted Man of the Year" in 1985 for the 114th Infantry 50th Armored Division. He has also earned board certification as a Certified Protection Professional from the American Society of Industry Security, and a Certified Fraud Examiners designation from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Wood received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Trenton State College.
