 Robert Trotta

Bob Trotta left an NYPD career to pursue his vision for a premium security organization to meet the growing corporate demand for a higher level of protective services. Following the domestic terrorism incidents of the late '70s and early '80s, including the FALN bombings of a prominent multinational corporation, Mr. Trotta created T&M Security Services in 1981 to fill this market opportunity. T&M was among the first agencies to effectively utilize the services of off-duty police officers in the security industry. Another part of Mr. Trotta's strategy emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest standards for recruitment screening and training — which T&M has maintained well in advance of the New York State Security Guard Act of 1992.
Over the next two decades, Mr. Trotta grew the Company from a two-man operation into one of the industry's leading multi-disciplined security and investigative services firms. Today, Mr. Trotta continues his guidance and involvement in T&M's growth and success as a member of the Board of Directors and as an advisor to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and senior management team.
